The Office of Quality Assurance and Accreditation (QAA) of Adamas University has come up with an Academic model of quality excellence called AU Internal Quality Assurance Framework.
‘Internal Quality Assurance Framework & Guidelines for Assessment’ was released during the celebration of Adamas Dialogue on 18th December 2021 by Chancellor Prof. Samit Ray, Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Deependra Kumar Jha, CEO Mr. Chandan Majumdar, President – Chancellor Office Mr. Tushar K Nath and Director – Quality Assurance and Accreditation Jyoti Bansal.
The book release ceremony was part of Adamas Dialogue, an annual function that celebrates the individual and collective efforts of every member of the University. The function recognizes the contributions of those members who have gone the extra mile to bring about a positive change to the University and their devotion to the University’s mission and vision.
Internal Quality Assurance Framework (IQAF) has been attempted as a continuous vision of the Chancellor Prof. Samit Ray, ensuring that all processes and policies of Adamas University are in tune with the needs and changes in the National and Global scenario of higher education, specifically with the New Education Policy 2020 and National & International Accreditation. IQAF is one of the Strategic Projects of 2020 initiated by the Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Deependra Kumar Jha and is completed by the Office of QAA under his guidance.
The framework will contribute to the development of an Institute-wide culture of ongoing quality assurance and quality improvement. This will be achieved through an approach to linking strategic principles and direction with planning and quality management, supported by Regular Annual Academic Audit for Self-Evaluation of all functions of the Adamas University and benchmarking of the schools.
A digital copy of the booklet is available on the QAA webpage of Adamas University
